Ece Güvenç Erdinç – born 1975, Turkey

She graduated from Mimar Sinan University Faculty of Fine Arts (textile). Her researched -based practise is driven by her interest in human and space. She has created her artwork using acrylic, oil paint and mixed media on canvas using abstract forms and expressive lines.

 

She renders her works in a contemporary style, independent of time and space, the emotional atmosphere of people and what belongs to everyone. Being a contemporary, expressionist figurative artist, she paints dynamic crowd compositions with poetic sensibility with an instinctive attitude. Her art practice is based on research of human emotional states and the existence of man himself independent of time. Guvenc creates large scale paintings inspired by observing different types of people in different situations.

 

Bird's eye view forms in her paintings allow the work to create an interaction with the viewer.

Transferring ordinary objects that we use in daily life to the viewer with an illustrative and expressive style, remind of a feeling and emotion that belongs to everyone.
