“CUBE THE LITTLE ONE” by Alex Knapic is a compact yet intricate sculpture that explores the concept of memory, form and diffusion. Despite its small size, the cube's surface is composed of a mosaic of fragmented pieces, symbolizing the paths of memories and monumental scenes merged into a single structure. The seemingly broken or incomplete forms reflect the idea that while parts may be dispersed or lost, the core remains intact.

The work invites viewers to reflect on the metaphor of life’s journeys, suggesting that even in fragmentation, there is continuity and meaning. Knapic’s craftsmanship elevates the piece into a poignant reminder of the connection between the past and present, with the cube representing a solid foundation of experiences, memories, and emotions—small yet profound in its significance.
