Literature

The famous conservationist Kevin Richardson is known for his incessant work with wild animals with the only aim to draw the attention of the entire world to the extinction of endangered species. Only with his help I managed to take an extraordinary picture of a black panther. How did it come about? January is actually summer in South Africa. During my 3-day stay, however, it rained almost constantly.
We looked everywhere for the beautiful animal and were about to give up when Kevin sensed one last chance to maybe find him.
We found his shelter. The moment we arrived, I saw two bright eyes inside the cave. He was there, but he turned away from us and I only saw him from behind. It took what felt like an eternity - but then he gave me this unique moment: He looks over his right shoulder as if to tell me: I see you - always. Just like Bagheera does repeatedly in The Jungle Book, giving Mowgli the most important feeling of all - trust:
"Don't be afraid - I'm with you."
