Akyol’s Inception series uses AI-generated images in vivid orange and blue tones to explore the idea of idealized, almost inhuman beauty. The works feature virtual-reality-inspired female figures painted on fabric, their robotic, ceramic-doll-like forms evoking classical ideals of flawless gods and goddesses from the Mythological series . This series questions our drive to design and replicate the “ideal” human, figures that are not only lifelike but engineered to be immaculate and untouchable. By merging digital imagery with traditional painting, Akyol creates portraits that examine our evolving, sometimes unsettling pursuit of artificial perfection.
