Allegoric messages of a ball have always attracted artistic reviews on oneself. The form of a ball is the symbolism of the beginning, but often also of the end or, at least, its announcement. The perfection of closure, symmetry, secrecy and a kind of self-sufficiency of existence, are the ideas which challenge a man, but also push and frighten!
They inspire an artist.
Because....What if…?
It is this very Alex's bronze that is trying to unravel the answer to this question.
Two mythical, Marvel, strong verticals are being broached by the existence of the ball between them – are they going to encapsulate it in themselves, or is it the beginning of their end? Are their relief grooves the traces of the past lifespan of the lost dreams, or are they already the bond of mysterious connections which lead us to the future.
What is in the ball?
Is the crescent rut in their bases a greedy bite or yet a painful grimace of insatiable hunger for the beauty of a perfect, smooth surface towards which they have always been gravitating. Has Alex "caught" a moment of attack or a moment of the last blink of the eye, shut and captured in dreams.
We do not dare detect those two diabolical figures which, seemingly, do not want to have anything to do with each other, and which would prevent them from colliding and uniting, like bodies that seek to become one again – it is more likely that these are bodies which were separated by birth. Pre-twins originated by the birth of the Universe – just a moment before the time spilt its dull fluids into the space between the stars.
If the Universe is compressed into a perfect ball before its existence – what is it then that surrounds it?
What is it anyway that surrounds us?
