Meryem Nevruzi Persian, b. 1986

Meryem Nevruzi is a Persian artist, who was born in Iran, where she studied Fine Arts and Graphics in the university. She chose thuluth style as her calligraphy specialization and in 2014 she received approval from Master Davut Bektaş.

In 2010, Meryem Nevruzi was selected as the most promising young artist in Iran and was awarded First Prize in the Young Calligraphers Competition, which happened for 4 years subsequently in Iran. Meryem Nevruzi received multiple awards throughout her successful career. In 2012, she received First Prize in the International Quran_i Kerim competition. Moreover, she was awarded Second Place in the Sultan Hafiz Osman competition and took First Place in the Hylie- i Şerif contest in the name Mehmet Şevki.

 

The artist had multiple exhibitions in America, Italy, England, Qatar, United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, and her artworks are displayed in Hilye Museum in Istanbul.
