Mythamorpha is an exhibitionn featuring international artists from across the globe, working in new media and old. The exhibition showcases the most exceptional talent from across the world with artworks based around a single theme. Pooling talent from the UK, Turkey, the USA, France and Brazil - Mythamorpha re-examiens ancient myths, placing them into a wider historical and cultural context.
Through the use of multi-disciplinary artist techniques (oil on canvas, bronze sculpture, spray paint on fabric, ink, lenticular printing, china and porcelain) this exhibition invites audiences to look at global history through a new lens. Whether it be a colonial past, ancient mythology or the way our technological advancements have shaped our environment, our artists compel contemplation and reflection on these subjects.
